Jennifer has worked with business owners for more than 30 years. She represents businesses in a variety of industries, including professional services, technology consulting, staffing/HR, construction and retail. Her clients range in size and in net annual revenues, but all share the aspiration of operating without legal mishaps or costly legal errors.
Many of Jennifer’s clients have relied on her for years to guide their businesses through day-to-day operations, partners coming and going, and the occasional liability claim or breach of contract. Others are referred to Jennifer to fix a complex, expensive problem, usually involving litigation. In addition, she works with estates involving family-owned businesses. Jennifer is active in DC and Maryland Bar associations and, through a Bar program, mentors new law firm owners. Jennifer is a Peer Review Member of the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission, which is the office that enforces attorney ethics rules.
Jennifer’s legal career started in the insurance industry. She spent several years at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General, and another several years as general counsel for a financial services company. Most of her career has been in private practice as a commercial litigator and business legal advisor. She has tried many cases throughout Maryland and in DC.
Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Delaware and of the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. She resides in Bethesda, MD with her family.
