Jennifer Maged

I am one of the lawyers who likes to practice law. STRATEGY comes naturally for me, and I like working with business professionals to solve a challenging issue. The more complications, the better.

The details a bio usually contains are below, but in addition you may be interested to know:

My colleagues say I should charge more for my time, and my clients say I am expensive but worth it. I am proud that almost all of my cases come from referrals from my clients. To me, that means I am doing something right.

I have extensive litigation experience. That experience benefits all of my clients, including when drafting their contracts because I have observed how courts interpret and enforce contract terms.

I have served as a mediator in Maryland District Courts. That perspective benefits my litigation clients, and it prepared me to advise my business clients on how to avoid claims against their companies.

I am a Peer Review Member for the Attorney Grievance Commission which governs the mandatory ethics of lawyers. This means I take my job representing clients seriously, and I volunteer my time to make certain all other Maryland lawyers practice responsibly, too.

I have practiced law since 1994. I have practiced in law firms, as general counsel for a nationwide financial services company, and for the Maryland Office of the Attorney General. I graduated from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and from the University of Delaware. I am licensed in MD and DC.
