My colleagues say I should charge more for my time, and my clients say I am expensive but worth it. I am proud thatalmost all of my cases come from referrals from my clients. To me, that means I am doing something right.
I haveextensive litigation experience. That experience benefits all of my clients, including when drafting their contracts because I have observed how courts interpret and enforce contract terms.
I have served as amediator in Maryland District Courts. That perspective benefits my litigation clients, and it prepared me to advise my business clients on how to avoid claims against their companies.
I am aPeer Review Memberfor the Attorney Grievance Commission which governs themandatory ethics of lawyers. This means I take my job representing clients seriously, and I volunteer my time to make certain all other Maryland lawyers practice responsibly, too.
I have practiced law since 1994. I have practiced in law firms, asgeneral counselfor a nationwide financial services company, and for the Maryland Office of the Attorney General. I graduated from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and from the University of Delaware. I amlicensed in MD and DC.
