Robert P. Scanlon

Rob Scanlon is the managing member of Anderson & Quinn, LLC. He has been with the firm since graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in 1981. Mr. Scanlon represents clients in the fields of business and corporate law, wills and trusts, and a wide variety of litigation matters, including business and commercial litigation, products liability and personal injury litigation, as well as appellate work arising out of the cases that he has tried.

A lifelong resident of the Washington, D.C. area, Mr. Scanlon received a B.A., cum laude, in Economics in 1978 from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. After receiving his J.D. from Georgetown, Mr. Scanlon was admitted to the bars in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal Courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Scanlon is a member of the bar associations for Maryland and the District of Columbia, as well as Montgomery County, Maryland.

During his thirty-five plus years as an attorney, Mr. Scanlon has tried over one hundred cases. His efforts on behalf of his clients have earned him the respect of the judges before whom he has appeared and the attorneys with whom he has worked. These efforts have also earned him Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV rating.
